hi, i am Neuro.

i am a 27 year old multidisciplinary artist that was born, raised, and currently resides in St. Louis, Missouri. i am deeply devoted to exploring the subconscious shadow self through creation, and bridging the gap between our soul and our body. i am inspired by many different artists and art styles, mostly surrealism, abstract expressionism, and various multi sensory and tactile movements. i am currently exploring mixed media using up cycled materials, exploring performance art and body painting, and intentionally using art creation as a meditative tool for inner healing and shadow work.

as a woman with complex trauma, ADHD, and late diagnosed autism, with many other struggles associated with these, creation has been pivotal in my personal journey. creating art is how i’ve learned to access and trust a sense of hope and confidence that has lived within me for as long as i can remember, but so often felt inaccessible. it has been integral in becoming attuned with who I am not, and who i would like to be. 

my life’s purpose is to inspire and empower others to free their spirit and shine their authentic and unique light onto the world, and embrace our human nature, and confront vulnerability. through my work, i hope to bring awareness to the mind/body/soul connection, and it’s relationship to creation and the lifelong healing journey we’re all on together. i would also like to radically support the fact that art has no rules, and it is a story you can tell in whatever way your spirit calls to. a story of your soul, a feeling, a fear, your shame, or unapologetic joy, and to honor your inner child in the making and celebration of your art. it is yours and yours alone. In that empowerment is where i believe we truly find and free ourselves.  i believe everyone deserves the tools and inspiration to tap into the power of their own creativity.
